Auckland DHB
About the Business
Welcome to Auckland DHB, a renowned health institution located at 2 Park Road, Auckland. As an establishment dedicated to providing top-notch healthcare services, we are a point of interest for individuals seeking excellent medical care.
At Auckland DHB, we prioritize the health and well-being of your young ones. If your child has missed their scheduled immunizations, we encourage you to arrange a catch-up appointment with your family doctor. Rest assured, this service is not only safe but also free of charge. We understand the importance of protecting your little ones from highly infectious diseases like whooping cough (pertussis), which can be life-threatening. Immunization is the best way to safeguard your pēpi and provide them with optimal protection.
In addition to protecting your children, it is equally essential for adults to stay up to date with their immunizations. We recommend keeping track of flu, COVID-19, whooping cough, tetanus, and meningococcal vaccinations to ensure the well-being of yourself and your whānau.
To provide you with peace of mind, we offer a simple test that takes only five minutes. This test has the potential to save lives, so don't hesitate to avail yourself of this opportunity. Unsure of where to go? Feel free to call Healthline at 0800611116 for free health advice.
We cater to a range of health concerns, including hayfever, diarrhea, headaches, and other minor illnesses. Whether you require ongoing illness management, pain relief, or simply feel unwell, our dedicated team is here to assist you.
Even if you are unable to visit your family doctor, we are prepared to handle minor cuts, sprains, and eye injuries. However, in cases of chest pain, head injuries, severe blood loss, or major accidents, it is crucial to call 111 for immediate assistance.
Please note that senior doctors and dentists employed by Te Whatu Ora, who are members of ASMS, have planned a strike from 12 midday to 2 pm on Tuesday, 5th September 2023. We apologize for any inconvenience caused during this period.
We are excited to announce that we are currently building a new area specifically designed for whānau with tamariki in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). This space will provide a comfortable environment for rest and rejuvenation.
Furthermore, we are incredibly grateful for the remarkable $6.5 million donation received from Graeme and Robyn Hart to the Starship Foundation, supporting our Paediatric Intensive Care at Starship Children's Hospital.
If you wish to contribute to the betterment of our adult or child health services, we encourage you to donate to the official fundraising charity.
Your feedback and suggestions are invaluable to us as they enable us to constantly improve and provide the best possible care. Please feel free to reach out to us for any general inquiries at 09 367 0000. We are located at 2 Park Road, Grafton, Auckland, and 214 Green Lane West, One Tree Hill, Auckland.
Thank you for choosing Auckland DHB as your healthcare provider. We are committed to serving you and your whānau with the utmost care and professionalism.

"An unexpected visit to Adhb Auckland hospital Ed ward and then ward 75 after a fall and up to level 7 for an operation. . I have to say that the whole visit was absolutely superb. The team across all divisions were rock stars. The service and the professional care were just amazing and you really couldn’t get a nicer bunch of people who were all passionate about their jobs. Thanks so much to all of you for your 5 star service and making my visit more bearable. Your should all be very proud of yourselves. Best regards, Craig"
"Awesome people and service."
"One of NZ's finest hospitals. Brilliant staff."
"The Sonography department here is in chaos with long-time staff leaving, long waiting lists, and no leadership. The management appears to be unaware and uncaring of what is really happening in this department and all they are interested in is quantity rather that quality! I feel that a pending strike is coming if high management does not take action soon!"
"I opted for community mid wife, knowing that I will be attended by a pool of mid wifes. But I would recommend that one should opt for private ones just because I assume they would be readily available any time on a phone call at least. With community mid wife, every time one calls up after their limited working hours, they are diverted to hospital mid wifes. In case of distress, a pregnant woman would want some reassurance and comfort of being heard and known by one person instead of being having to repeat our anxiety to several people."
