"Currently live here. Apartment is infested with cockroaches and bed bugs. Being told I have to pay half for the exterminator. Beyond that, apartment gets no natural light. Machines on the bottom level don't work. Everything is damp and cold. Do not live here. I will be leaving the instant I can and will be forfeiting my bond because there is no way I will be telling a new potential tenant that this building is worth living in with a straight face. Don't let the decent prices fool you."
"Building managers moved us into a unit we were not asking for. The unit we moved into was completely infested by cockroaches. After multiple attempts to CONVINCE the managers to get pest control (after they insisted on using store-bought bait that didn't kill any) we were forced to go to the tribunal. After this they held a single fumigation, which was not enough to kill the roaches due to the entire floor being infected. One time the downstairs cafe had a water leak due to the pipes, and the manager tried to charge us for repairs!! It also took them several months to repair the leaky bathroom. No washing machines were working in the laundry, or dryer. They were broken for at least 6 months, or longer as they were still broken when we left. When we finally left the tenancy, the manager practically pulled out a microscope in order to inspect every last detail to steal our bond (no surprises there). Classic case of 0% effort from the landlord yet feeling entitled to 100% of our money. All in all the most terrible living environment I've had the displeasure of experiencing. If you're thinking of living here - run."
