Miramar Christian School

Welcome to Miramar Christian School, located at 41 Camperdown Road in Wellington, New Zealand. As an establishment and point of interest, our school is dedicated to providing a high-quality education that is infused with living Christian values. Our mission is to help whānau (families) bring out the best in their tamariki (children) and equip every ākonga (student) to thrive and lead in a changing world.

Our dedicated team of staff, along with the committed Board of Trustees and local churches, work together to create a nurturing and supportive environment for our students.

Miramar Christian School is a hidden gem in Miramar, offering an excellent education for students in Year 1-8. We are a state-integrated school that provides a unique alternative, combining academic excellence with Christian values. We take pride in being an affordable option for families seeking a quality education for their children.

Exciting things are happening at Miramar Christian School, and we have even more planned for the future. We are currently collaborating with a group of Christian Trusts from within New Zealand to develop a 50-year vision for the network of Christian Kura's (schools) in the greater Wellington area. This includes being part of a new primary and secondary development in Wellington.

For your convenience, we have provided the primary kura/school term dates for 2023:

- Term 1: Wed 1 Feb – Thur 6 Apr

- Term 2: Wed 26 Apr – Fri 30 Jun

- Term 3: Mon 17 Jul – Fri 22 Sept

- Term 4: Mon 9 Oct – Fri 15 Dec

Throughout the week, we have various activities and events that contribute to the vibrant atmosphere of our school. Mondays are reserved for the Principal's Assembly at 2.30pm, which is followed by a formal uniform day. Wednesdays offer the option of ordering Subway for lunch, again accompanied by a formal uniform day. Fridays are dedicated to music lessons from 8.30am to 10.30am, and it's also Wheels Day, where students can bring their preferred mode of wheeled transport. PE uniform is required on Fridays.
