"Unfortunately I did not have a positive experience here. The lady working was very demeaning, and looked down to me as a customer who was just seeking assistance for locating a package that was marked by AusPost as at their premises. It was frustrating as the lady was very belittling to me as a customer, and clearly knew the answer but tried to act with her authority and not want to help at all. This was very disappointing experience, and could of easily been a positive one with the basic kindness and support that customer service is all about. I don't appreciate being treated like a child, so I won't be back."
"I had been advised by a staff member the previous day that I needed a couple of extra things before I could submit my son’s passport application (which has been very tedious). The staff member was helpful and polite but clearly hadn’t properly checked the application as when I returned today I was greeted by an incredibly rude woman that spoke to me like I was a child (I’m 55) almost scolding me for attaching the photos to the application and having a cross out. She refuted my claim that I had been in the previous day saying that no-one there had fair hair (as that was my description but I hadn’t taken much notice) and told me I would have to get my ex-husband’s birth certificate because mine wasn’t Australian! I can accept that there are strict rules in place for these processes BUT being spoken to like that is NOT appropriate - especially when I had been turned away the previous day with specific requirements which I fulfilled. For goodness sake Australia Post - where to you get these people! For the benefit of the customers visiting this store she has brown curly hair and wouldn’t know how to smile if she tried. There were obvious reasons she wasn’t wearing a name badge!"
"I'd stay away from this post office if you need a passport processed. The old lady's behind the counter are rude and abnoxious. They cause a fuss over trivial things and winge constantly, very unwelcoming disgraceful service."
"Staff need to learn there daily duties to perform while they working in Australia post, and they should be professional and nice to everyone, no matter what race there customer from, as Australia is a multi -cultural country. If they can not do there job right, and they have problem from non-Australian, they should not work in a customer service jobs."
"These ladies need to educate themselves about Passport procedures and FAST! I have been in and my son now 5 times and they still can't give the correct information and accept the application. I had to phone the PASSPORT OFFICE to be told that my son's application was in fact filled in correctly. Small town thinking is all I can put it down too"
