"We had a fantastic time walking around Ballarat with Andrew. Our visit to the town was made so much more memorable and fun thanks to his knowledge and welcome."
"Did the historical tour of Ballarat with Andrew. He was very knowledgeable about the town's history with an engaging storytelling style. I threw some random questions at him and he was able to answer all of them! Highly recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in architecture or the gold rush era in Ballarat and Victoria."
"Andrew is very knowledgeable and nice. We had a heritage tour with him and it was absolutely enjoyable. He was not just presenting the relevant standard information about the city, instead he found out the audiences’ interests and tailored the information that suited everyone. We could perceive the efforts he put in. Highly recommend to all if you would like to know Ballarat in a better way."
"Absolutely fantastic tour! Our tour guide Andrew was incredibly knowledgeable, interesting and passionate about history, not only in Ballarat and the gold rush there, but also in other central Victorian towns, Melbourne and Geelong. This was a really enjoyable tour which brought the town's history to life with many interesting and funny facts and stories. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ballarat. Great value for money."
"Andrew is an excellent guide, full of knowledge of the history of Ballarat (and lots of other areas). He expressed a keen interest in post-war history as well as the early gold days of Ballarat. His delivery style is easy to listen to and, whilst he talked for most of the tour, he always promptly stopped to allow a guest to ask a question or make an observation. He was very interested in information one of our party was able to provide him from her childhood memories of being raised in Ballarat. For one of our party visiting from Cairns, Andrew's account of the Eureka Stockade event and its aftermath brought the whole thing to life for the first time. Andrew didn't skimp on his time - the 90 minute tour extended for over 2 hours. It's great value for money and we strongly recommend it to others seeking an insight into the early days of this historical town. Bruce, Marg and Ian"
