Since 1993, Eco Seed has been dedicated to supplying New Zealand-grown certified organic seed. Our journey began as a small business purchased from Napier and later relocated to Palmerston North as Organically Yours. For the past 27 years, we have proudly served the Wellington community and are now permanently situated in Manakau, Horowehenua.

In our early days, we obtained certified organic seed from the Bio-Dynamic seed bank at Poraiti, fostering a valuable relationship with the Bio-Dynamic Association. As seed availability from Poraiti dwindled, we seized the opportunity to certify our present gardens through Organic Farm NZ in 2004.

We want to express our gratitude for your unwavering support throughout the years. The past 25 plus years have been immensely rewarding, and we eagerly anticipate the next 25 years of serving you and the organic gardening community.

At Eco Seed, we offer a wide range of vegetable, herb, and flower seeds carefully sourced to complement organic growing practices. We firmly believe that certified organic products are the only way to ensure authenticity, and we support this belief by providing growing tips, suggestions, and guidelines on crop rotation and companion planting in our seed packs.

To make your shopping experience convenient, we encourage you to use our online ordering service. However, if you know someone who doesn't have internet access, please forward their details to us, and we will gladly send them a free catalogue. Additionally, we have retail outlets throughout New Zealand that stock our high-quality ecoseeds.

All our seeds are open-pollinated or non-hybrid, free from chemical coatings, and guaranteed genetically-engineered (GE) free. Our primary focus is to grow Organic Farm NZ certified seeds, and we actively source and support certified organic seed growers.
