"I wanted to support a small local jeweller so I took some things to get fixed at the Jewel Centre. My mistake. My waterproof watch is no longer waterproof. I also had a bracelet in to be fixed as the jump rings needed to be soldered. Firstly they seemed to have lost the bracelet and then I had to chase them up about whether it was finished. When I went in to pick it up after they had it for weeks it turned out the jeweller had just squeezed the jump rings shut; something that a monkey with a pair of pliers could do. He then got nasty when I expressed disappointment that he hadn’t soldered it and claimed that he didn’t know that I had wanted that despite the fact that is what I had asked for. Note; he had my phone number and could have confirmed what I had requested. Do yourself a favour and take your business somewhere else."
