With a background in health as a Registered Nurse, Jen has spent the last 17 years specializing in the Mental Health sector. Her passion lies in supporting clients by delving into the underlying causes of their current issues. By taking a holistic approach and focusing on the mind-body connection, Jen aims to achieve the most positive outcomes for her clients.

Jen is registered with the Nursing Council of NZ and the EMDR Association of NZ, and she is also a trainee member of the New Zealand NZ Association of Psychotherapists. She has received training in various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

One of the powerful techniques Jen employs is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). This therapy is recommended by the World Health Organization and aids individuals in healing from trauma and distressing life experiences. By integrating mind and body, EMDR allows for a comprehensive and effective healing process.

Additionally, we are proud to offer the Conversational Model (CM) therapy. This long-term talk therapy integrates developmental psychology, linguistics, and neuroscience to address disorders of self.
