Welcome to Tawa Montessori Preschool, located on Hinau Street in Wellington, New Zealand. As an establishment, point of interest, and school, we provide a nurturing and educational environment for children aged 3 and above.
Our preschool operates during primary school term breaks, ensuring a consistent learning experience for your child throughout the year. Please note that we are closed for three weeks during the Christmas/New Year holidays, allowing our staff to recharge and prepare for the upcoming year.
We are currently accepting enrolment applications for January/February 2024. If your child will be turning 3 in late 2023 or early 2024, we invite you to join our preschool community. With only 15-16 vacancies per year and the same children and teachers in attendance each day, we offer a close-knit and supportive environment for your child's early learning journey.
To help you get acquainted with our preschool, we have scheduled an Open Day on September 12th from 3.45pm to 4.30pm. This is the perfect opportunity for you and your child to visit our facility, meet our dedicated teaching team, explore our well-equipped classroom and spacious garden, and gain a deeper understanding of our philosophy and approach.
As your child approaches the age of 3, we also offer personal classroom visits. These visits can be arranged by appointment and are typically undertaken 3-6 months before your child's third birthday. By observing our program in action and experiencing the overall ambiance of our classroom, you will be able to determine if we are the right fit for your family.
