Welcome to El Humero, the first traditional Colombian-style barbecue restaurant in New Zealand. Located at 40 Hurstmere Road in Auckland, our establishment offers a unique culinary experience that showcases the classic and rustic elements of Colombia.

At El Humero, we take pride in our mouth-watering Colombian-style barbecue dishes, which are prepared fresh over traditional wood-fired and charcoal grills. With every bite, you will feel as if you have been magically transported to the vibrant streets of Colombia.

Our menu features a variety of delectable options, including grilled beef or chicken skewers with onions and capsicum, deep-fried empanadas stuffed with pulled beef and potatoes, and Colombian-style deep-fried pork belly served with Arepa. For those looking for a taste of everything, we also offer a mix of three different Arepas: corn, cassava, and sweet corn, served with dips. Additionally, our traditional cured and dried pork sausage, prepared on the grill and served with Arepa, is a true delight for the senses.

We are open for reservations seven days a week, but please note that for dinner on Friday and Saturday, we have limited spaces and times. We do not take large bookings on these nights, so be sure to plan ahead.
