Live Life Well Counselling
About the Business
Welcome to Live Life Well Counselling, located in the heart of Ballarat Central on Lowe Street. As an establishment focused on health and well-being, we are a point of interest for individuals seeking support and guidance in their lives.
At Live Life Well Counselling, our mission is to empower individuals to live their lives to the fullest. Our private practice was born out of a deep passion for helping others and providing them with the counseling they need. Whether you are an individual, a couple, a family member, or a caregiver, we are here to offer care and support during times of distress caused by life changes and challenges.
With over 18 years of experience, our founder and counselor, a proud Ballarat local, has been dedicated to providing counseling, education, and support in various areas. These areas include Grief & Loss, Road Trauma, Palliative Care, Dementia Care, Family Separation, and Child and Family Services. No matter what you're going through, whether it's feeling overwhelmed, anxious, sad, confused, exhausted, grieving, or distressed, we are here to help.
When you choose Live Life Well Counselling, you can expect to be supported, listened to, and understood. We firmly believe that you do not have to face your struggles alone. We pride ourselves on creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for you to share, guide, and explore the barriers that may be hindering your ability to live life well. Our counseling sessions are always individually tailored, working at your pace and towards your goals, utilizing multiple styles of counseling. Our person-centered approach ensures that our services are practical, informative, and supportive.
Central to our work is the therapeutic relationship between client and counselor. We understand that beyond expertise and techniques, a bond of trust, care, honesty, and compassion is essential for successful counseling outcomes. That is why we are committed to providing the highest level of care to all of our clients.
If you're considering counseling as an alternative to Mental Health Care Plans (MHCP), we have informative resources available for download on our website. We also offer guidance on common normal reactions to Grief and Loss, as well as reasons to think outside of MHCP for therapy.
Appointments are available face-to-face in our clinic, via telehealth (zoom), or over the telephone from Tuesdays to Fridays. For new clients, feel free to book online, but we also encourage you to have a chat with us prior to booking a counseling session if that makes you more comfortable. Additionally, we offer services for couples, family groups, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), consultancy, and group education. Please contact us directly for more information.
Take that step and reach out to us. It can make a significant difference when you're feeling stressed, overwhelmed, lost, or alone. We understand the challenges faced by caregivers, who care for someone with an illness, injury, or disability. Caregiver stress is common and can impact emotional well-being and mental health. We also offer specialist dementia counseling for individuals with dementia diagnoses, partners, carers, and family members. Additionally, our specialized palliative care counseling provides support for those with life-limiting illnesses, as well as their partners, families, and friends.
In times of crisis, we understand that help may be needed urgently. That's why we provide a list of important helpline numbers, including Lifeline, Mens Line Australia, Suicide Call Back Service, 1800 Respect, Kids Help Line, Carer Gateway, and My Aged Care.
Visit our Services page for a complete overview of the counseling services we provide. We urge you to take that step and reach out to us. Remember, seeking professional help can provide you with the support, understanding, coping strategies, and self-care you need to live life well.
