Our goal in the counselling/therapeutic relationship is to assist clients in regaining hope and taking charge of their lives in a positive and healthy manner.

At Shirley Fryer, we offer a range of services including counselling, family therapy, psychotherapy, life coaching, and more. Our team is experienced in various therapeutic techniques such as Emotional Freedom Techniques, Inner Child, Marriage and Family, Meditation, Person Centred, Solution Oriented, and Somatic Psychotherapy. We believe in supporting our clients to find new ways to think and behave, ultimately leading to a positive transformation in their lives.

With almost 30 years of experience in Ballarat, our founder, Shirley Fryer, has been a trusted Counsellor, Family Therapist, Counselling Supervisor, and Educator at local counselling and health services. In 2000, she opened her own successful private practice and has been offering Clinical Supervision to local agencies for the past six years. Shirley is also a group facilitator in areas such as Stress Management, Assertiveness, and Relaxation. Currently, she is facilitating groups in Post Natal Depression and Meditation.

We understand the importance of accessibility, which is why we offer flexible office hours and after-hours appointments for both telephone and face-to-face sessions. We strive to provide an immediate response for new clients, ensuring that they receive the support they need in a timely manner.
