Whether you are traveling for leisure or business, as a couple or with a group of friends, our Stables at Byronsvale is the perfect place to escape your everyday routine and indulge in the tranquility of the countryside.
Our fabulous two-story, two-bedroom apartment, named in honor of David Chaplin Sterry, one of Bendigo's first mayors, offers a cozy and comfortable stay. Sterry built the stables and homestead at Byronsvale in 1870 as a weekender for his family. The Clydesdale horses that resided and worked at Byronsvale in the 1870s had their lodgings in this part of the stables.
We also offer a separate one-bedroom apartment with an ensuite and an open-plan, well-equipped kitchen. The Vines, a light-filled ground floor apartment, provides breathtaking views of the vineyard, paddocks, and the home block dam, often visited by water birds and grazing kangaroos.
Byronsvale is not only a destination in itself, but also a central base for exploring the surrounding regions of Castlemaine, Echuca, and Heathcote. You can also indulge in Byronsvale's estate wines or visit other outstanding wineries in central Victoria.
Consider surprising your loved ones with a Byronsvale Vineyard & Accommodation Bendigo Gift Certificate, offering luxurious accommodation packages, wine, and cheese platters.

Reviews
"What a wonderful place. We didn't stay overnight but had the pleasure of being shown around the property today, We wish we had booked a couple of nights. Wonderful old Vineyard, Lovely host and close to Bendigo."
"Byronsvale was the perfect escape for a relaxed, quiet Christmas. Watching the ducklings in the morning as the mist rose from the dam or lounging on the lush lawns under the gum trees with a beautiful glass of wine. Everything was perfect - Thanks Denise!"
"My new husband and I stayed for two nights at Byronsvale for a mini-honeymoon after a micro-wedding. Byronsvale is a beautiful estate with well-manicured grounds and garden beds. Denise is so nice and friendly, with fantastic attention to detail. From fresh flowers, to little chocolates, cookies, and bathrobes, Denise thinks of everything! I am extremely particular about cleanliness (especially bathrooms), so when I say our apartment was spotless, I really mean it! We also ordered 2 breakfast baskets for our stay which were so fresh and tasty - especially the eggs. Breakfast sitting on the porch was absolutely golden. The bottle of chilled rose I had was spectacular. Could not recommend Byronsvale more whether you're a Bendigo local on a stay-cation, or coming in from out-of-town. You won't be disappointed."
"Serenity , Wine and Comfort Beautifully restored and extremely comfortable accommodation in a converted 1870 stone stable set in lovely garden & vineyard surrounds. The added bonus of a working vineyard is that our fabulous host , Denise , gave us a personal wine tasting of their award winning wines. We will be back Hamish & Imogen"
