Established in 2012, Maldon Pet Resort is conveniently located approximately 25km from Castlemaine, 30km from Maryborough, and 45km from Bendigo. Our prime location allows for easy access and a tranquil setting surrounded by nature.

At Maldon Pet Resort, we prioritize the well-being and happiness of your dogs. Our experienced team, led by owner and operator Sarah McComb, ensures that your furry companions receive the highest level of care and attention. Sarah holds certifications in Companion Animal Services and Dog Behaviour and Training, guaranteeing a safe and nurturing environment for your pets.

We offer a range of services tailored to meet the individual needs of each dog. Our resort provides hands-on interaction between humans and dogs every day, promoting socialization and playtime for those pups who enjoy the company of others. For those who prefer a more relaxed experience, we offer a sedentary environment where they can unwind and enjoy their time away from home.

As part of our commitment to providing exceptional care, all dogs staying with us for five or more days receive a complimentary Hydrobath, ensuring they return home clean and refreshed. For shorter stays, we offer the option to add a Hydrobath for a small fee of $15.00 per dog.

To ensure the health and safety of all our guests, we have a strict policy regarding vaccinations. Evidence of a C5 vaccination within the last 12 months is required prior to admission. If your dog has not received a C5 vaccination, we recommend doing so at least 14 days before their stay. We prioritize the well-being of your pet and others, and full inoculation can take up to 6 weeks in certain circumstances. Please consult your vet for more information.

Diet is an important aspect of your dog's stay at Maldon Pet Resort. We provide high-performance dry food and chicken mince, ensuring a balanced and nutritious diet. Older dogs are offered a "special care" dry food specially formulated for their digestive systems, while puppies are catered to with a high-protein diet. We offer twice daily feeding if needed, and we can accommodate dogs with special dietary or medication requirements, although out-of-hours medication incurs an additional charge. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring your dog's regular food along with them.

Please note that we are closed on Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Good Friday. Our rates apply from the day of arrival, and if your dog is collected before 10am on the day of departure, there is no charge for that day. However, dogs picked up after 10am will be charged for a full day. Please be aware that day care services are not available during peak periods.

We also offer various discounts for our valued customers. If you have three or more dogs, you can enjoy a 10% discount. Pensioners are also eligible for a 10% discount (valid pension card must be shown), and long-stay bookings of 15 or more days receive a 10% discount. Please note that only one discount is applicable per visit.
