"Just don’t go there - arrogant front desk, dirty kitchen and long term staying travellers - everything you could or could not imagine. Surprised to see it is still running."
"We had a fantastic stay here. The relaxed old house charm is a nice change from corporate hostel chains (which I frequently also use). We also met some really nice people staying here - it attracts a nice, laid back crowd. Plus if you like a breathtaking sunset every night, it is literally 5 minutes from the peak of Mount Eden (an extinct volcano). Finally, you know the U2 song, One Tree Hill? The veranda at Yaping House overlooks that very same One Tree Hill they are singing about. Recommended for a relaxed stay of a week or more."
