"I had gelx done here for the first time (I've been getting them done elsewhere for a year but moved) it has been less than 1 week and 2 have lifted. You can see there is still product on my nails, the base around my cuticle was too close and too thick allowing air and moisture to get in and cause lifting. My nails have never lifted off before. I went in and wanted a refund as I don't have time this week for a fix and they look terrible at work. They refused as 'they spent time doing them' which I understand but ultimately they did not do them correctly. If you have the time to sit around getting your nails fixed and don't mind them looking horrible inbetween then they are nice enough there, but the job just isn't good enough (and a refund should have been provided). I had gelx done at EmStudio for a year and they're done so well they grow right out, I had them done every 3 weeks. I wouldn't recommend this place unfortunately. Edit to add: it's now been 1 week and 3 more nails have lifted off with a 4th lifting on one side. So if I got the 2 fixed yesterday I'd have 3 more off today. The truth is I didn't want them fixed because the salon did not do them right the first time so I don't trust them to fix them, and now I have over half my nails lifted after only 7 days and $75 I was right. Sorry but you shouldn't be offering a service you can't do. Yes 1 maybe 2 nails something might happen as a risk but over half your nails in 1 week is the salons fault, bad technique."

"I’ll start off by saying that the staff was really nice. They offered for me to come back free of charge to fix my nails. But this was the absolute worst nail experience I have ever had and I would never go back even if I was paid to do so. Being nice doesn’t make up for disastrous service. I had asked for a simple cut and French nail-do. Ended up with crooked, uneven cut and shaped nails, along with a disastrous attempt at French tips, the white line was all crooked, my nail shape will take months to recover from the crookedness of the shape the technician cut, and I honestly hope no one makes the same mistake as me to go there for a simple nail trim and shape. The salon is quite rundown, not very welcoming, it should have been a red flag but you are greeted at the entrance with an obligation to pay upfront, so no chance to get a refund if they mess up. Steer clear of this place."

"I really enjoyed my experience at Royal Nail Spa Kelston. I was made welcome and the ladies were very professional. I am so happy with my gorgeous manicure and want to say a big thank you to the lovely team of ladies who really go the extra mile to give you a great experience. Highly recommended and will be back."
