"I love The Wade. Oliver is an amazing host and the food is absolutely superb. I’ve been there 3 times in the last 3 weeks and have enjoyed the experience. The only negative is the heating. Our table of 8 commented on how cold it was as. When I approached the staff they explained the heating wasn’t working. Sadly until it is summer or heating restored I can’t take friends or family as it’s just too cold. Congratulations though to the Owners for employing such incredible staff."
"Love these old style pubs. Came here for lunch with my mum and daughter. Lovely backyard for the kids to play while the mums enjoy a wine in the sun and the staff were lovely. Will definitely be back in summertime :)"
"I don't know where they get their mussels from but they were not good at all. These had black shells with hardly anything in them. Nothing like the wonderful green shelled NZ mussels."

"We recently saw the new menu advertised on Facebook and thought, why not? The place was lovely and inviting, all the staff were very chatty and lots of smiles which says a lot. The food was real pub food, the prices were a little high on first impressions but oh my, the food portion was amazing. I would like to show you pictures of the food but I'm afraid we can only show what's left. I had the chicken schnitzel and my wife had the burger, I think I ate the equivalent of a whole chicken with chips and salad, the meat was 10 times better than KFC and so juicy. My wife said the freshly made burger was exactly what you need with a pint on a Friday night after a long week of work. Top notch guys, we will definitely be back."
