"Delicious meal from start to finish. The gnocchi was to die for I haven't gotten it out of my head since and can't wait to go back for more. The sauces were clearly home made and couldn't fault a single bite starter, main or dessert. Our waitress was very nice and attentive despite also looking after a table of 20ish people at the same time"
"The food is decidedly 100% average. THE PASTA: plain and flavourless, ANY RED SAUCES: tasted like Watties, THE BREAD: dry, very dry, heading toward stale, THE PIZZA: it existed, THE CAPRESE: too much rocket, not enough basil, THE ARANCINI: too dry, THE MUSHROOM & TRUFFLE RAVIOLI: this was actually quite good - we ended up dipping every other dish in that. We're not angry about spending the money because we didn't come for the food, we came for the BYO and we sure BYO'd. We were loud & rowdy and Pain e Vinonono didn't seem to mind too much. Which is great. We got what we wanted. But drunk people can still taste food. ***fyi the acoustics upstairs are terrible. And as you know, we love our acoustics. Highly recommend they get some soft surfaces, cushions or plants."
"This little Italian restaurant is great! Delicious food, super accommodating for allergies, Amy our waitress was fantastic!"
"The three stars is for the building it’s located in. The staff kept rushing us to order. We ordered drinks but entrees turned up before our drinks & had to follow up a few times for them. It was a busy night and it definitely showed. The calamari was good. The bruschetta was alright. The gnocchi Ragu was a bit meh. The gnocchi had a weird consistency & the Ragu was missing that meaty goodness. I ordered an espresso martini which was more espresso less martini. And having to pay for extra Parmesan basically was the end of a disappointing experience."
"Cozy interior but noisy. The man who looks like the owner is kind and busy staff. Pasta and pizza are all delicious. I really enjoyed the meal. Especially, Ragu is the best!"
