"We saw a tribute band play the Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd. Amazing place. Absolutely beautiful. And wonderful staff."
"A venue with a unique history, being a historical goal and currently being used as a community festival venue and a school. The ambiance of the old stone walls and the glow of the lighting adds to the atmosphere. Acoustic in the theatre was amazing. Would definitely return to more events at this venue."
"Great theatre for Opera. I saw the last 2 Operas in Melbourne Opera's ring cycle. The orchestra sounded fantastic, but the 3 harps had to sit up on the right hand side of the stage. The seating is comfortable and the view of the stage very good. The only thing I found less than ideal was that there only seemed to be one set of toilets. Given that I was going to Ring Operas, I thought the trees out the front were very appropriate since the leader of the gods, Wotan, is said to have taken a branch from the World Ash tree to create his spear."
"Been to many functions now at this awesome establishment. From the flow, acoustics and just a fantastic historical venue."
"Great acoustics in the theatre (saw my favourite band play here) and good visibility from all seating. The old gaol really scrubs up well too, definitely worth a visit."
