"Went to red smoke before an engagement party in the area. We live in south eastern suburbs in Melbourne which is unfortunately 2 hours away. Restaurant has the most amazing food and service not to mention prices. If it was near us we would be going there all the time. We found this in a number of places we visited, Bendigo has really amazing friendly service with really reasonable prices. Since covid everything in the city and our area has just sky rocketed with many people not being able to afford eating out, also service and attitude has just plummeted. It's really nice to see that Bendigo has such an amazing level of service and has an absolutely amazing food industry. Heaps of lovely quaint restaurants in the area producing great cuisine. I would highly recommend Red Smoke restaurant and for people outside of the area, to travel to Bendigo for a day trip and support the local businesses. Absolute Gem.."

"A true gem restaurant in Bendigo. Went on Easter Friday on our trip to Bendigo. Great bbq meat. We ordered crispy pork belly with watermelon tapas. Never thought it would be such a perfect match. Great bbq meat, we ordered beef brisket and lamb shoulder. Both are out of our expectation. Meat are juicy and tender, the sauce are perfect. Also, great price for this portion. Must visit in Bendigo"
"Excellent BBQ; brisket was fork-tender and well seasoned. Sides, chips and coleslaw, were also fresh and delicious. They have an extensive cocktail menu and tempting desserts but we were way too full to partake (this time). All very reasonably priced and we were well looked after by the lovely staff. Definitely book because it is a cozy venue."
"It was our first time coming to Red Smoke. We took 2 of our kids, and ordered some sides (chips & mac 'n cheese) as well as mains (beef brisket, pork ribs, lamb shoulder). Wow, we all loved everything we ordered. They were so delicious, and portion is also generous. Will definitely recommend and if given the opportunity again to visit Bendigo, we will come back here again."
