"Mediocre in all respects. The steak was tough and thin, the chips tasted weird and not fresh, the garlic sauce tasted of nothing in particular. The food is generally overpriced for what you get. The service was slow and the staff seemed frazzled if more than 2 customers were waiting for drinks. Theres a lot of misc objects on the wall that you might find interestig i guess. If youre driving through looking for a place to eat, keep driving."

"What a wonderful old ‘pub’ Steeped in history, much of connecting Rockingham and the days of timber exports in the late 1800’s. Menu is basic - food is reasonable. The staff were simply wonderful and the gentleman who served us outside could not have done enough and was extremely polite. I was able to order grilled fish (over battered) and was very tasty. Worth a visit - must go back in winter with all the fires on!"
