"One star is only for the arrogant & self important attitude of butcher Chris, who was rudely bossing the staff around & made it obvious he did NOT want to cut any chops for me. I wanted to buy more, but didn't want to deal with Old Cranky again. I thought the store had changed hands. Staff were miserable! I asked the young guy that served me if Chris is a boss, as I'd never seen him before. He said no. Obviously in Chris' mind he thinks he's important enough to treat staff & customers like dirt while the owner is away on holidays. Not a good look for this usually happy store. I feel sorry for the staff, having to put up with Clown Chris' need for self importance!"
"We like to buy and shop local, but not anymore, they had beautiful marinated pork chops in the display, asked for 2 marinated pork chops, olmate said hey ive got an open packet in the fridge might grab them, ok, wow, not much between what he's sold us and a little lamb chop, not half the size of what was displayed. I couldn't do that to anyone, I sure as God made little green apples wouldn't do it to a local, regular. Enjoy it, we will never be back again, and will recommend everywhere else but that business."
"My SIL kindly bought me some biltong today or what was left in the butcher. 2 sticks of the fattiest horrible tong ever which should have been downgraded to pet food & not on the shelf. Dont buy biltong here sorry."
"Went there several times. Meat quality was always good. Just the butcher himself is the problem here... Tried to get crocodile tail steaks and got a different answer every time: first "we usually have it but not right now" then " we are out of stock getting more on Thursday" then "no it is so hard to get there is only one business in town you can get it from but I can't tell you where" After the first two tries I bought some other meat but the last one made me leave without buying. Obviously he doesn't want to help at all. Sad! Go to crocodylus Park they plenty of crocodile meat available and choose a helpful other butcher for all your other meat."
