"My first job was working at Chicken Treat and I remember basting the chicken with drippings to get the colour and flavour. Now, I can’t express enough how revolting their chicken is. Years ago I was put off eating their chicken because it was really weird tasting and had this chewy rubber type meat and would steer my partner away from buying it, until one day in all their wisdom decided to get a whole chicken meal. Big mistake. The chicken hasn’t changed. Flavourless, tough and rubbery and not edible. We had to give to my dogs and even then I hesitated. And further, skin not even browned. The chips are pathetic too. Soggy and tasteless. A far cry from when I worked at the joint and it was good. You are so much better off getting a supermarket chook. I will never ever buy again. This is not an isolated issue."

"Very disappointed in today's experience. Went through drive thru.Had a chip as i was driving out of drive thru and it was stone cold. Went into store to get replacement. Those chips were luke warm almost cold and got home to realise they hadn't given me the drink for the kids meal. I had one unhappy little fella on my hands. Take away is a rare treat at our house so very disappointed today."

"Purchased 2x classic wraps combo’s lunch today. Warm drinks- apparently fridges not working, wraps- horrible, straight in the bin! Lettuce that old taste, obviously not refrigerated. Toilets not in use. Should have just closed the store till everything fixed, waste of $27!!"

"Amazing! If you're in the mood for nuggets and chips, hot sauce, choc milk, roast chook, burgers...this is the place you've been looking for. Great service, really fast, good food, very friendly. And, even when they shorted our order (and I'm talking, one nugget short), it was sorted, on the spot (with an extra nugget on top, by way of apology). Love it - worth the stop on the way home from the beach..."
