"While the staff member was nice, she did say she was a beginner piercer. All three of us got lobe piercings, and all three of us have had to deal with infections (one staph infection which needed expensive antibiotics and drainage) despite using the after care spray and having other piercings that have never been infected. Very disappointing as it wasn’t cheap."
"Got my helix pierced in January and was offered no healing or aftercare advice and every time someone complains they are very rude. Would definitely not recommend this place if you don’t know how to care for a piercing already as they aren’t very helpful."
"Terrible aftercare instruction and dodgy piercings. I have had my freshly pierced lobe studs fall out twice but was made to feel like it was my fault and was charged for it to be re-done although it wasn’t done properly in the first place. My friend went through a similar experience and was not told she should change her helix rods after a certain amount of time so they are now warped and uneven. My nose piercing, which was JUST DONE, had been raised all afternoon and fell out on its own after it wasn’t put in properly. Beyond annoyed and displeased with the service and will be telling other people!"
"If you’re looking for piercing work done, just beware because Darwin has so many other better more practiced piercers. I have had my nipples done here and the lady who did it placed in a massive size for my “body”. When asking her if I need to change these out she answered with “no need, this will be the best size.” I was going to purchase some aftercare spray and to save me the money she told me “I wouldn’t worry just keep up with the salt and warm water baths.” Few months pass and they were sagging and inflamed. Went back for some advice and she just told me I wasn’t looking after myself and if I go down sizes I’ll regret it because they’ll look great. Went to a different piercing shop for advice and had been informed she’s given 3 gauges too big, that the salt dilute was too strong, to get chemist saline and within a few days of changing they healed and settled. I wouldn’t trust this shop, I’d consider looking else where first."
"Nikki was so lovely, gentle and very professional! 110% recommended her for all your piercing needs xx"
