"They provide very poor service. CEO of the centre is very arrogant and rude. Wish I could give them a zero star"
"In 2020 I arrived in Australia from the UK. After a few weeks settling in to my home in Baldivis - I decided I needed to return to work. Not knowing the area and not having any family here in WA I struggled to find childcare. All of the day cares in the Baldivis area were fully booked and unable to facilitate any care for my three children, at the most they could offer me a day here and there or the opportunity to be put on a waiting list. I managed to secure a place in a centre in Leda, but I was actually going to turn my job down as I was horrified by the setting and couldn’t possibly leave my one year old in their care. It was then by chance that I drove past the Wellard Early Learning Centre that for whatever reason drew me in. I contacted the friendly and helpful team and was booked in for a visit the very next day. I was greeted by the fabulous owner Pastor Carolann - despite already being fully booked she welcomed me and my family with open arms - she allocated more staff and managed to accommodate me in my time of need and since then she has become like family to me. Wellard Early Learning Centre may not have the brand new shiny building and apparatus that other centres boast, but to me my children’s development is based more on the people, care, community they have around them and this is exactly what this centre provides. My children have always been valued and cared for whilst in their care and I’ve had no problems whatsoever. If anything they’ve probably had problems with me by way of example I once forgot my sons packed lunch and they told me not to worry (I would have been late for work) and fed him fresh fruit, sandwiches and biscuits. All three of my children have attended the centre, my daughter (now aged 13) has also asked to complete a course in childcare and help out in the centre when she turns of age. My son (11) has made lots of friends and my baby who’s now not a baby he’s nearly three has spent the majority of his life with these kind and caring people and is exceeding all of his milestones and turning into an intelligent young chap! Not only is this centre a day care facility the centre is also extremely welcoming and I feel like the staff are my extended family. I recommend Wellard Early Learning Centre not just for the day care facilities but also for the support that Pastor Carolann and her team have given me whilst my family and I have been adapting to Australian life."
"All three of my children have attended this centre and I am happy with the services this centre provides."
