"Great swim school, small classes and attentive teachers. Not too noisy like classes at public recreation centres. Both my kids have been very wary beginners who took a long time to get comfortable in the water - this school goes at the child's pace and strikes a great balance between knowing when to give a little nudge to those on the cusp of a new skill versus not pushing wary kids into things they're not ready for. Highly recommend for nervous kids - if you have the patience to let them take their time, you'll be rewarded with growing confidence and self pride in and out of the water. My eldest daughter has had school lessons at Cockburn ARC and always says that State Swim was a much nicer experience. We travel down from Success and it's definitely worth it."
