Northern Suburbs Community Centre

Welcome to the Northern Suburbs Community Centre, located in Newnham, George Town Road, 49. Established in 1983, we are a reputable institution governed by a dedicated Volunteer Board. As an establishment and point of interest, we aim to provide a range of services to the communities of Rocherlea, Mayfield, Newnham, Mowbray, and Invermay.

Operating from three sites, namely Newnham, Mowbray, and The Shed in Rocherlea, our neighbourhood house serves as a hub for community engagement and support. As an independent non-profit, non-political, and non-government incorporated organization, we are committed to meeting the needs of our community through various activities.

At the Northern Suburbs Community Centre, our key objectives revolve around connecting the community, supporting individuals, creating opportunities, and fostering local leadership. We are proud to be funded by the Department of Premier and Cabinet, enabling us to fulfill our vision of an informed thriving community that drives its own direction.
