Reviews
"Location is great. Right next to buses. A guy died out the front while my family stayed there. Found white substances on-top of a cupboard in the room they provide crisis accommodation. Friendly, but not somewhere to be long term. Charged us $190 a night after spending oh so much, they just kept telling us to call crisis care to pay. They say they aren't people who hand out. Fair enough. But a family who just came from a unsafe environment doesn't need to come here."
"I honestly don't know where to start. My review relates purely to the cabins, particularly the 1st cabin on the left before you go through the security gate. DISGUSTING!! The entire unit stunk of stale smoke, the floor was so greasy that my sons feet slowly slid out as he was standing there. The camp van was parked in our carpark and the owner just said 'oh don't worry about that' and didn't offer to move it. There was no hot water for showers, our son found out the hard, cold way and also the shower leaked. The furniture was filthy, both the leather couch and dining chairs. Our parents stayed in unit 1a, which was better however, even though the front window was broken and fixed with duct tape and we were alarmed at the request to pay $20 'in cash' for the swipe card to gain access to the unit through the gate, he claimed the bond couldn't be added to the booking or paid by eftpos. At $170 per unit, per night, this property is way over priced, especially for the 1st unit which was filthy and run down. When we left my partner told the owner there was no hot water, he replied "Oh isn't there? Oh well I'll have to call a plumber won't I" There was no apology or offer of a refund, because of this we knew there was no point in raising all of the other issues with him. If we have to find a positive, our bedroom was very dark which was good for trying to sleep. We couldn't wait to leave and left at 7.30am. I would never recommend to stay here."
"The camping has nice large powered places. Thats the good part. Camp kitchen is not working and old. Hot water not available as the tap is broken. Tap on the camping place is also broken. It is a place to spend the night but expensive compared to other campings with much better facilities."
"We camped here for two nights in tents. The bathrooms and toilets looked clean. The camp kitchen was clean equipped with a kettle, a small microwave, a small sink and a fridge. The camp ground had a tap for each camp site but not every tap was in working order. There's a power outlet for each camp site."
"After reading some of the reviews, I was worried to stay there for the long weekend, but as it happened everything went well. Nice wide and shady plots for the caravans, ablution block is clean and big. Yes, some of the permanent residents are rather colourful characters but it wasn't an issue. Bring some earplugs as it can be noisy during the night with road and train traffic. The overall park is neat and tidy."
