Dr Moar completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at The University of Sydney in 2009. He gained valuable experience as a junior doctor on the Gold Coast before undergoing specialist training in General Surgery. To further enhance his expertise, he also completed a year of fellowship training in Endocrine and Upper GI surgery in Melbourne.

In addition to his medical practice, Dr Moar is a Senior Lecturer with the University of Queensland, where he takes pleasure in teaching medical students and junior doctors. He is also an Instructor for the Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient (CCrISP®) course with the respected Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

Outside of his professional life, Dr Moar enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife and their three school-aged children. As a bushwalker and runner, he takes advantage of the beautiful trails in the region, constantly seeking new adventures and experiences.

He also provides consultations at Lady Bjelke-Petersen Private Hospital in Kingaroy and MyFamily Medical in Stanthorpe. Additionally, he holds public appointments at Toowoomba Base Hospital, ensuring accessibility to a wider range of patients.
