About MacKillop Catholic College
Welcome to MacKillop Catholic College, a dynamic secondary school located in Palmerston, Northern Territory. Situated on Farrar Boulevard, our college is dedicated to providing high-quality Catholic education to students from Years 7 to 12.
At MacKillop Catholic College, we pride ourselves on our student-centered approach and our commitment to serving the local community. With Christ at the center of our lives, we strive to touch the hearts and minds of our students, preparing them to take their place in society as courageous leaders.
Inspired by the values of Australia's first saint, Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop, we aim to continue her work by providing the very best co-educational learning environment for our students. We celebrate diversity, inclusiveness, and equality, fostering an environment where every student feels valued and supported.
As part of our commitment to holistic education, we offer a range of extracurricular activities and events. On September 6th, we will be celebrating MacKillop Feast Day with a mass at St Mary's Cathedral in Darwin, followed by lunch in the city. This is a special occasion for our college community to come together and honor our namesake.
Additionally, on September 15th, we will be participating in the Top End Schools Rugby Gala, a whole-day event that showcases the sporting talents of our students. This is an exciting opportunity for our students to demonstrate their skills and sportsmanship while representing MacKillop Catholic College.
We welcome prospective families to join us for a college tour on Wednesdays at 5pm. This is a fantastic opportunity to explore our facilities, meet our dedicated staff, and learn more about the unique educational experience we offer at MacKillop Catholic College.
Whether you are a current student, a prospective family, or simply interested in learning more about our institution, we invite you to explore our website and discover the vibrant and inclusive community that is MacKillop Catholic College.

Reviews of MacKillop Catholic College
"I nearly got suspension from yawning in class 3 times and got confronted by my year cordinator in year 7 teachers also most teachers are really strict and only a small amount of teachers are nice."
"very very poor school if your looking to come here i don’t suggest it at all poor teaches and lack of communication, students are treated extremely unfair, the current principal is extremely unprofessional often can’t control his anger towards kids and can lie towards adults to paint him to be the good guy, teaches don’t care for students mental health only things that benefit them or there school, staff preach confidentiality and yet there own staff had told a yr 12 class about drama with 5 girls that had nothing to do with her nor her class at them time, extremely unprofessional and disgusting to talk about other students/ KIDS that you don’t even know. also made kids walk home after a incident instead of waiting for a caregiver which could have been extremely dangerous, and many many many other things. Over all i don’t suggest this school to anyone or especially to kids who need extra help unless you want endless drama."
"Both my kids have moved to MacKillop this year, they love it! Lots of choice for electives, great teachers, great kids excellent results! We love all the opportunities the school has provided for both of them. I can’t say thank you enough."
"My kids love going to Mackillop, like all schools it has small problems but over all it's a great school. I love the uniform, I think it looks smart. When we chose Mackillop we were made aware of the uniform expectations and agreed with them. I like that you can tell the juniors from the seniors. I feel my kids are getting a good around education."
"School is very poor at communicating effectively with parents. Principle does not seem care about the students of the school and focuses more on the reputation. Quality of teaching is very low. Do not send you kid to this school unless you want to deal with never ending headaches."
