"We stopped by the area for lunch after spending the morning at Penguin Island. It wasn't too hard to find parking in the area which was nice. We walked around the area after our late lunch. We grabbed an ice cream from Baskin and Robbins and walked around. The beachfront looked quite new with resting and playing areas between the sand and the footpath. The park area had lots of grassy patches to run around in as well as a couple of playgrounds. Plenty of BBQ facilities were scattered around the park too. The park is right beside Rockingham beach so it was easy to go in for a swim and then head back up for some shade. It was a nice place for a stroll."

"Lovely time for a truly family day out with plenty of shade, bbq's, swings, beautiful flat beach with calm waters for any age. Also a great place for a night walk fully lit pathways. Over 5km of walkway. BBQ picnic grass area. Toilets. Swings, shade and a beautiful beach. Coffee shops galore"
