Reviews of St Ursula's College Toowoomba
"I actually like going here with just a few issues. I was threatened by a girl in my grade and so far, I haven’t heard her getting in trouble for it, even though I have been promised that I would hear an update. I’ve also had issues with getting my ASD support for 2 years. I only started getting the support this year."
"What an amazing school! Went for the Open day (had previously toured the school a couple of weeks earlier) and am just more in love now and definitely know it's the right place for our girl. They genuinely mean every face has a place."
"I think St. Ursula’s College is a very good school. The teachers, staff and boarding staff are so helpful and supportive to students and parents. They do provide a positive, safe and warm environment for students. As an international student parent, I strongly recommend this school to parents especially international parents."
"I attended the school for 2 years and I did not enjoy my time there at all. Majority of the teachers that work there are horrible, rude and unfair. I only had about 4 teachers that I actually liked. The uniform requirements are completely unacceptable and the fact that it costs $80 for A skirt is unnecessary. There are very few nice students that attend the school, you feel constantly judged for everything you do and have to pretend to be a different person so you will feel accepted not only by the students but the staff as well. They also expect the students to vacuum, sweep and mop the classroom after school hours. They also expect you to change in and out of your sports uniform every time you have a hpe class and you had better watch out if your not wearing your tie in the winter or a spray jacket when it's not raining. Also I have been in trouble many times for playing hand ball or soccer on the oval at break times, because your not aloud to have fun at the school either. And on Thursday they expect you to bring food to share with the rest of the class, there have been times that I have been bullied for not bringing a cake on my birthday and the teachers didn't do anything about it all they said was "you were supposed to bring a cake today" and basically encourage the other students to continue the disgusting behaviour. There are also events that occur throughout the year such as the boat race and they force you to spend your time and money buying resources that you shouldn't have to buy, last year I was pressured into spending about $50 on resources. Overall the school is terrible, it has very few positives. I would not recommend sending your child there as it is basically hell on earth."
"I went to school here and was seriously bullied until the point I left in year ten as I could not take it and longer and the teachers and authorities of the school did nothing and couldn't care less. No my little sister is there at the bullying is worse then ever and the school just brushes under the carpet and it seems they protect the bully's rather then the victims. Not a school I would ever send my children to."
