Reviews
"We went to Babyland today to buy the cot, mattress, car seat, and other smaller essentials. The shop attendant guy was pretty welcoming and definitely very helpful. After browsing around and pick what we want, we proceed to the cashier, then he willingly to help us bring all the big stuff across the intersection to get to where we parked (as there were no closer spot near the shop). We really appreciate their excellent services. Cheers!"
"Avoid where possible shopping here. They make you feel like you shouldn't be in there, they stare and watch your every move... like watchdogs around the store... can barely pick a product off the shelf without that sense of someone watching you. They're rude... they expect the sale, and have the worst customer service ever. Buy online or travel through to Devonport to Storktalk. They are consistently overpriced, and rarely have sales. They think they dominate the market.... pity help them when Baby Bunting moves into Launceston (We wish it would). They recently sold my wife a wrap, discounted... got it home and all the edges were frayed... clearly no markings to advise it was a faulty product - not worth the hassle of driving back in (we live 45 mins away)... just given us another reason to avoid shopping here."
"This is the only place in Launceston that you can get that ridiculously overpriced pram that all your friends have. Yeah the one that costs about as much as some cars. Service is ok. Overall the store is actually pretty good. I just can't stand the culture that seems to come with this stuff sometimes."
"Walked into the store and was greeted by a staff member. I asked him if they sold reusable nappies, and he simply shook his head without saying a word and then stared blankly. So I thanked him and left the store. It was a very strange interaction, fair enough to not carry every item but non-verbal answers aren't very good customer service. A simple "no sorry, is there anything else you were looking for" might have encouraged me to look around for something else."
