"Stayed for an extended period July/August 23 awaiting the safe arrival of our beautiful new baby grandson. We were extremely comfortable in our clean, quiet room, the pool/spa was very relaxing. Breakfast was lovely and also the bistro meals too. To top it off all of the staff were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thank's especially to Nicola and Damien. Yvonne and Mark King."
"Eating at the restaurant for lunch has nice ambience but the waiting staff needs to work on they're manners. Maybe it was an off day when I had lunch there but it seemed the waiters barely smiled. The Menu could use some upgrading aswell but overall quite a pleasant experience."
"My second trip to Grindelwald and this time it was inside the hotel. The rooms are neat and clean. Good thing is that each room has one double and one single bed so if you are a family of three you don’t have to ask for a spare bed or an extra room that saves a cost. We are on a professional development course so got an opportunity to enjoy the three course meal with morning and afternoon tea. The Geneva room could be a good place to organise courses and conferences for up to 20-40 people. Facilities are good you can get a lectern, projector and screen. Tea and coffee setup for the conference and be near the lobby. If you are gluten free, you might not get too many option for the afternoon tea snacks. The breakfast was pretty standard. Nothing extraordinary. Salmon in the dinner was a favourite. There are a couple of meeting rooms for multiple occasion so that’s good. A small bakery inside the resort is handy. You can get your favourite coffee or chai from there."
"We chose this town because it was a fun extra stop on our trip. The rooms were great but the service was sub-par. The restaurant was overpriced and very depressing so we went elsewhere but overall was a good experience."
"Golf course is in a state of disrepair, in absolutely terrible condition. I was charged $38 for my junior son and I. Wouldn’t play there if it was for free. Only positive is we had the course to ourselves as nobody else is as gullible as us. I suggest turning it into a motocross track as that’s all it’s good for."
