"I buy all my meals from China Garden. I don't cook. I can highly recommend this Chinese restaurant that has indoor or take away services. I have had my meals delivered to my home at times. Combination Chow Mien is my favourite. The girls know exactly what I buy & i walk in, they write out my meal without asking. Thanks China Garden for looking after me."
"I ordered takeaway on Friday night. Delivery was free because I spent over $60, but it took over an hour! The Garlic prawns were nice with a couple of vegetables and not much flavour. The roast duck with plum sauce (chef's special) was very disappointing! Mostly skin and bones, and a small container of plum sauce which was less than half full. I ordered a special fried rice with prawns (which was an extra $3), but there were no prawns and the rice was stuck together in clumps. Sorry for the bad review, but I have been here many times and had beautiful food! I'll be back, but I'll pick up the takeaways next time."
"I’m not normally this person but this place served up the most vile horrid Chinese we have ever eaten. We were served chicken skewers for entree at the cost of $10 (for two pieces) which were dry and the satay they placed in a side dish was tasteless. For mains we were served what we thought was Mongolian Lamb and Mongolian Beef. Both were full of fatty meat and contained more onion than pieces of actual meat. As a side, we ordered vegetable fried rice, this was inedible. Everything from the pieces of rice to the pieces of fried off egg tasted like it had been cooked in a pan and left to burn. There was no getting away from the burnt taste. On a positive note, the can of coke and ginger beer was perfect. Biggest waste of $98. Will never return to eat here."
"Actually amazing!! Ordered take out cashew chicken and the flavour is incredible. Also ordered a small special fried rice. The portion size is HUGE and would be a large anywhere else. Friendly service and super fast. Probably the best Chinese I’ve had in Tasmania."
"I've been to this place multiple times, during the day and night. All food are good and the staffs also friendly. I really enjoy the food even though it has been adjusted to local taste. I will always go back here for quick chinese food in town. :)"
