Reviews
"Nice staff, large range of products and sometimes great on special prices."
"Refused service because I didn't have a woollies reward card, apparently part of the liquor licence, sounds like lies as I find it hard to believe that the NT Gov only issued them a liquor licence under the condition that customers provide a private businesses loyalty card, how ridiculous, hope woollies still sells me groceries without a loyalty card."
"I don’t understand why have a security guard at the front of the store demanding to see my ID as soon as I walked in. If I’m purchasing alcohol then yeah, I have to provide ID for the BDR. I don’t want to pull out my ID twice while being in there. Liquorland stores is the way to go, they don’t have a security guard at all."
"Just went to BWS Bakewell, new girl at checkout. As we are using a card that will not let us use the chip as it no longer works, she advised that she needs to check our card as it could be stolen. We advised her its our card and is exactly like the driver licence with same name. She refused us service because of it. We asked her when did she start working for BWS as we have had no problems before. This is why refused service. Its becoming a joke, we can't use our own cards without get told we stole it. We aren't going back she was rude, asked to speak to Manager she advised she was the manager. We are locals and always go to BWS Bakewell they have lost our business"
"After some consideration of what I wanted to purchase I took my over $26 wine selection to the counter and got told I can't buy it because they can only sell it between 12 and 6. However BWS you offered on the shelf with a price and no such terms and conditions on the shelf or on the product. Legally I believe that is termed an offer. I took it to the counter with the intention to purchase it ...once again I believe that is acceptance of your offee. So as far as i am aware we had a contract. I would like someone to contact me to discuss how you make good on your behaviour. So 1star because you can't give less"
