"Lovely store, fruit and veg in particular are always so fresh. Not always easy to get a park. Getting served also requires the longest wait time I have ever had in any Coles or Woolies store. I read a review here that stated staff had been told to stop being so friendly. I'm guessing that is in order to increase productivity. It is frustrating if you've been waiting and waiting to be served and staff and customers infront are chatting away like there is no hurry."

"Let me start with a caveat. I'm a former Coles employee that had an extremely bad experience after a work related back injury. Having said that, my experience at Coles Mowbray as a customer has always been excellent. The occasional bad tempered checkout operator is the worst thing I can think of. Completely understandable, especially when you consider the average person they dealt with during the pandemic. Well done to the staff, some of us do notice."
