As a leading provider of Supported Independent Living (SIL) services, Fairhaven guides individuals with disabilities to live independently and happily in a shared environment with residents who have similar interests and support needs. We are currently seeking passionate individuals to join our disability support team in the Brisbane, Ipswich, and Toowoomba areas. Duties include providing domestic assistance, personal care in clients' homes, and assistance with accessing and participating in the community. If you have a heart for making a difference in the lives of others, we would love to have you on board.

But don't just take our word for it, let our clients' stories speak for themselves. C used to go to a center for over 10 years but didn't enjoy it. When he received his NDIS package, Fairhaven offered him a range of outings and activities that he truly loves. From walking along the river to fish and chips once a week and dancing lessons, C is now doing the things he wants to do with his Fairhaven support worker. He has even started collecting aluminum cans and his support worker takes him to the recycling center to cash them in for pocket money.

Another client, J, had a goal of pursuing broadcasting. With the help of a Fairhaven support worker, she was able to do a mini-course at a local radio station. However, she soon realized that her true passion lies in photography. Now, J is pursuing her love of photography with her Fairhaven support worker by her side.

At Fairhaven, we believe in making dreams come true. When W expressed his goal of going fishing, we were determined to help him achieve it. We went shopping for fishing gear, went fishing together, and even helped him obtain a fishing license. Now, W enjoys fishing in the dams near his home with the support of his Fairhaven worker.

We also cater to individuals with unique needs. K, who is blind, had never left his living space until Fairhaven came into his life. Now, he goes out with a support worker to get supplies and enjoy some time in the sun. J, who used to be hesitant to go out, now explores the community she lives in thanks to the NDIS and Fairhaven. She loves visiting museums, art galleries, and going on scenic drives to the countryside.

We are proud to support individuals like S, who has cerebral palsy and a goal of walking again. With the help of allied health professionals and regular physiotherapy sessions with her Fairhaven support worker, S has made remarkable progress. She has gone from mostly using a wheelchair to now using a walker from time to time, becoming stronger every day.
