Reviews
"The service I received was friendly and prompt. However, having paid extra for ‘extra’ vegetables, I would have expected more than a single piece of broccoli in my noodles along with the tiniest pieces of carrot and boc choy. And maybe 4 reasonably sized pieces of chicken. $23 worth of noodles essentially. I won’t be ordering from wok in a box again, I am left wishing I had read the reviews online prior to ordering."
"It was my first time eating at Wokinabox. I normally go to Noodlers Baldivis (which is amazing, by the way), as it is closer to home. However, I was in Warnbro, so I thought I'd give it a try. They were very polite and the service was lovely. But the food tasted horrible. I got Mongolian beef, which is my normal go-to at noodle box places. But all I could taste was aniseed. It had no Mongolian sauce flavour at all. The aniseed flavour was so overpowering that I was grateful I brought a side dish. I had salt and pepper squid on the side. It was overcooked but otherwise tasted okay. I was still hungry after I finished my side and forced myself to eat some more of the main, so I filled up on ice cream I had in my freezer. But the Mongolian beef tasted was so bad I couldn't finish even 1/3 of it and feel like I wasted my money. This was the worst Mongolian beef I have ever eaten, and I have eaten a lot of Mongolian beef in my life from a lot of places in Australia and overseas. I can't believe I spent $24 on dinner tonight, buying my favourite dishes, and didn't enjoy any of it. If I had lived in Warnbro, I'd have driven back and asked them for a partial refund or to make it again and have it actually be edible. But I live in Baldivis and can't see the point driving 15 minutes just to behave like to a Karen. I have learnt my lesson, however, and I won't be wasting my money at Wokinabox ever again."
"Went there last night and bought sweet and sour chicken with steamed rice. Not happy with this. The rice I'm sure was pre cooked and then reheated as it was so gluggy and the three bits if chicken were ok but there was not much sauce so it was thick of rice and chicken and some veges. Not alot of flavour. I will not be buying there again."
"My Fiancé and I decided to give this place a go despite some of the reviews, and god we're glad we did! Such friendly service, only a short wait for food, and the food was brilliant. I had the Kway Teow, beautifully done with great flavours. My Fiancé (who's a notoriously fussy eat I might add) had the Singapore Noodles and was quite impressed. We'll definitely be back!"
"The meat portions should be bigger, like bite size, the noodles are great but it needs more punch in the flavour. Sesame seeds would be a nice touch too. Was very bland and needed more punch. Honey soy. Wouldn't even feed that to my pet. Needs more love and flavour."
