"Disappointed. We drove all the way from Fremantle and Lesmurdie to try this cafe near the Rockingham beach on a beautiful sunny morning. There were people when we arrived however it wasn't packed, there were still few tables free. Our Chai Latte arrived in 10min. It was bland but as you sip it, the spice kicked in, so it was OK. We have had more authentic chai latte before. I ordered the Pancake Stack, American style and my partner chose the Avocado Smash with poached eggs. His order arrived 28min later, the eggs were cold, and toasted sour dough were also cold, smashed avocado not the usual green avocado colour. Mine arrived 2 minutes after his order, steaming hot and all stacked up. The lady next table who arrived 10min after us, her steaming poached eggs arrived almost same time as mine. She is very lucky to get served faster with warm poached eggs. While we were waiting, there was a guy also waiting for his take away order. He would have arrived same time as us, I am halfway eating mine, when I saw his order came out and heard him swearing as he left and walked away. There were plenty of waitress, and two people in the kitchen. They need to plan the ordered timely. Not coming back and I won't recommend this place."
"I can understand a laid back approach to admire the views towards the beach. So if your in no hurry then this place is nice. The wait staff are great however the kitchen seems to be too slow getting orders out. I must add that it wasn't busy at the time. After 30mins of waiting I had the smashed avo which arrived cold. My partners American pancake stack was hot which arrived 2mins after my meal."
"The service was very friendly...Took a while for the food to come out. I personally found the "Tapas" or dumplings to be good but not that special. The calamari was chewy and pale, not golden brown. $9 gets you 4 pieces or three pieces in the case of the prawn wantons, which tasted the best of all the things tried. I hope the standard picks up, as the location is great, but the food looks better ( in most cases) than it tastes."
