"Ordered 2 biryanis requested one spicy and the other normal Made both of them deadly spicy that couldn’t even eat ended up in bin. I consider myself quiet tolerant to spices but this made me sick as if a kilo of chillies was added to one serve Dear chef please find a balance in your recipe. Not recommended at all"

"This was a very special visit, lovely authentic food and hospitality but the environment is dated and feels very ordinary and we almost passed it by because of it, there are definitely things they could do, but it's worth the venture as the food and hospitality was outstanding."

"I hate to leave a negative review for a local business, however today we were well and truly mislead due to what seems like false advertising here. My wife, son and I went in for lunch after seeing the lunch specials, which were reasonably priced. We were sat down and given menus, we enquired about the lunch specials and told there are no lunch specials anymore. So we ordered off the menu anyway which was far more expensive than the lunch special. After we ordered my wife went outside to recheck the sign which advertised the lunch specials, she went back inside and pointed to it only to be told the only specials they do are the set menu deals which are $54.99, $77.99 and $159.99. My wife came back and sat down. I then looked online at your website which clearly advertises your lunch specials, I got back up and showed the lady serving us this. She explained the website was out of date and those specials were no longer available. She then showed me the takeaway menu and showed me the same 3 deals which she told my wife about. My wife then left a review on Google explaining the lunch specials were not available, which after a response from possibly the owner is clearly not correct. The food here was actually pretty good but I can't help but feel like waitress was either poorly trained or was trying to upsell to us by not giving us the correct options. She even tried telling us that 1 saffron rice was not enough for 2 people even though the menu states (serves 2). I pointed to the menu which stated (serves 2)and she mimicked with her hands the size of the bowl it comes in. It looked tiny, however when the rice came out it clearly was not that small. It was more than enough. Very, very disappointed with our experience here and would love a decent explanation as to how the waitress got this wrong not once or twice but three times."

"The best Indian food we have ever eaten. The butter chicken and lamb korma is so flavourful and rich. Every single dish we have tried is a hit. We order through DoorDash very regularly and the food is always on point. Prices are reasonable and food is always delivered quickly and hot. Thankyou Spices on the Ocean, you’re the best ❤️"

"Absolutely amazing food. Authentic, tasty well presented and great portion sizes. They were very willing to accommodate dietary needs and had good vegan options. I have eaten at many Indian restaurants and this is now on my list of places to revisit."
