"What a fantastic place. Definitely spoilt by choice of food. We opted for fish and chips with a beer to wash it down. Love that you can sit right on the edge of the wharf and watch the boats go by. Just watch out for the seagulls, they like to poo a lot as hubby found out when 1 flew over and pooped on his arm."
"Nice stroll along the waterfront. Heaps of eateries and bars. You can even fish of the wharf. And for a time you can go up in the ferris wheel to great a birds eye view of the area. There's also information on the air raid by Japan on Darwin."
"Enjoyed spending some relaxing time before and after a fishing charter. Lots of food places to select from and a takeaway bar. Sitting on the waterfront looking out over the bay is very "chill". There are also activities and a secure eating area for those with smaller kids."
"So much to see and do. Fantastic day out! Make sure you check out the Royal flying doctor service tourist experience and if you can book the sunset cruise on sail Darwin...all highly recommend!"
"Its 33°C here today at the beginning of Winter. The Port Darwin and Waterfront walking paths are exceptional with open paths and access to drinking water and many historical information sights that really are very well presented. Stokes Hill has an historically significant history from the time of surveying and settlement and of course during WW2 and Cyclone Tracy. But before that for thousands of years organised clans of Indiginous people of The Saltwater lived here and that is what I enjoy the most. Looking out over the ocean here is good to have a map to get a real insight into the neighbouring islands and countries abroad."
