"Made a booking PRIOR and requested a good view, and a booth seat for a birthday. We arrived and our ‘Reserved’ seat was in-front of a jumbo fan, not a booth. We could not sit there in peace with gusts of wind nearly knocking us over. It was a table that could seat at-least 10. When queried, we were told the other people seating in our booth with the view had put money down which is why we were moved and that seat was reserved for a larger group. We asked why we weren’t asked to put money down? We would have, it’s a birthday. To make matters worse, the people seating in our seat evidently had less people than us which didn’t make any sense. I was given a free drink and sat in the corner of the inside, with walls surrounding me, no view. For my birthday I was extremely let down. Especially after seeing the shift leader laughing and pretending to bang her head after I had left with my free drink. How unprofessional and unfortunate, new owners?"

"I’m so disappointed and appalled that this company would exploit people. So they are are claiming a public holiday weekend so they can charge an extra 10% on Sunday even though the holiday was on Friday. This is just terrible. My partner had one drink and I drank water. I’m so disappointed as it’s one of my favourite places to go and I always bring friends and family here but I don’t want to anymore. I hate feeling like I’ve been ripped off. Shame on you Lola’s."

"Great atmosphere with lots of patio seating. It’s a relaxing place to have a beer or classy drink by the water."

"I just searched for a restaurant near where I was staying and this quirky little place came up. Upon arrival, was greeted by some super friendly staff. Got an excellent recommendation on a pizza. Was offered a sample of a couple of different beers (went with the Matso’s Mango beer - very refreshing and suited the tropical surrounds). Food didn’t take too long and enjoyed the view of the harbour while we ate. The Italian Stallion pizza was delicious and the honey drizzle a perfect touch (as promised by the staff). The visiting fish below us were a pleasant surprise. Plenty of kitsch decor if you’re into a photo opp. Overall, loved the service, loved the food, loved the location. Thanks!"

"This was a happening place when we rocked up for a spur of the minute dinner. The place was packed and I was sorry that we didn't know to book ahead for one of the better tables right over the water. The pizza was not the best I've had but not bad for a bar. The clientele was a mixture of young and old and also families. The best aspect of this place would be the atmosphere, but don't expect a quiet dinner."
