Our story began with our father, John Ceccato, who grew up in a large Italian immigrant family and worked in the family hospitality business. His upbringing, combined with traditional family values and a love for quality food, laid the foundations for what Global Food & Wine is today.

From humble beginnings in 1957 with a small warehouse in Brisbane, we have grown to become a leading foodservice supplier. We import, produce, and distribute a wide range of quality food products, including dry, chilled, and frozen foods, fresh seafood, fresh meats, beverages, and wines. We proudly serve over 4000 customers, ranging from franchises, pubs, clubs, cafes, and restaurants to five-star hotels and small boutique dining destinations.

In recognition of our dedication and success, the Ceccato family recently won the 2022 September Awards for Gold Coast Business Excellence in the Family Business Category.
