"Kuranda Train Station Visited on 15/7/2022 What a lovely station. One that brings back memories of yesteryears travelling. The Kuranda scenic Railway terminates here. The journey from Cairns to Kuranda takes 1 hour and 55 minutes. It is well below the street level of Kuranda township and the Kuranda Skyrail Terminal. There is a small foot bridge over the railway line that connects from the street level to the other side that leads to the bank of Barron River. From the footbridge to the train station, one has to walk down several steps. More to come"
"A great Scenic Railway trip with a picturesque railway station at Kuranda with Tea Rooms and typical facilities. The views from the railway up/down to Kuranda are quite something as well as the history provided on its construction during the trip. The heritage trains themselves are unique, with decorated engines and original features within the carriages. Well recommended!"
"A must see when visiting Cairns. It was good to see the old heritage station and operating tearoom. The whole journeys on the train was terrific with good narrative. Devonshire tea was fantastic with freshly baked scones with cream."
