"If I could leave a ZERO star review I would. My company has been an account holder of Followmont for MANY MANY YEARS and spent thousands sending freight with these guys. I had freighted an item that was due to arrive 4 days after it left it's origin, when it was a no show, they were contacted about it, from which I had found out after multiple phone calls the freight went missing. After 2 days, the freight was said to be located at a destination 16hrs away and was back on a truck to get delivered to where it was meant to. A few more days had passed and the freight was still a no show, when questioned, they told me they don't deliver to the receivers suburb and the freight was in their warehouse, which lead to more calls, only to find out they do deliver to that suburb. When told it would arrive the next day, I had received a phone call to say the freight has turned up back where I dropped the freight to be sent and it was now damaged, more like dropped. (two weeks after I had sent originally on a 4 day turn around). I now had to go through the claims process, in which i provided receipts for parts and labour to fix the damaged goods - totaling almost $1500.00 To then be told by their "claims team" - we do not cover second hand goods. 14. Followmont will not pay any claim where: (d) The Goods are negotiable instruments, jewellery, gemstones, wrought or unwrought metals, antiques, art works, securities, drugs, weapons, living animals or plants, refrigerated/perishable goods, specimens, household and personal effects, second-hand goods, cigarettes, tobacco and tobacco products and anydocuments; Absolutely APPALLING - Will be closing my account and take my business elsewhere. * READ THEIR TERMS BEFORE SENDING *"
