Reviews of Discovery Park
"It's ok for a little park. Doesn't have much there, but enough to keep a little one busy, we were there max 10mins before Mr. 2yr old got bored."
"This is a great park. Its a big ship with no ocean in sight! I bring the kids here on a weekend via a bike ride. We love the journey there because there are numerous bike paths and shade on the way. There is also a cricket/baseball area with a big field which we are yet to try. The area is kept clean. The sand is regularly swept and the grass is maintained well too (they should come do my lawn). The park itself is a big ship and the placement of the tables allows us parents to participate without actually getting up out of my seat. I'll often proclaim i'm in the captain's quarters and the kids run off while i stay seated - Father of the year! am i right!! But overall awesome park"
"Kids love the Pirate Park! There's usually a kids party being held here most weekends and the play area is well maintained and the grass is usually well kept along with rubbish being collected. Am yet to use the BBQ but it always looks nice and clean and well maintained. Only gripe is the lack of a toilet facility at the park which seems like a big omission for a kids park."
"It's a good little park, however more shaded is needed as the slide heats up and becomes too hot for kids to play on. The ground also becomes too hot. I would also like it if there was more to do for 2 years or younger."
"Great park! Has just enough shade to keep people out of the sun. Park is usually well kept and maintained. Great visit for kids with a picnic to get rid of some extra energy"
