At our clinic, we offer specialized care for Urinary Incontinence, Prolapse, Pelvic Pain, and other gynaecological issues. Dr. Kannan is a qualified Sub-specialist in Urogynaecology, making her one of the few women in Australia with this qualification. We provide comprehensive Obstetric, General Gynaecology, and specialized Urogynaecological services to women of all ages.

Dr. Kannan performs state-of-the-art Robotic Surgeries using the Da Vinci XI robot at Mater Hospital. As a Certified Urogynaecologist, she utilizes robotic-assisted surgeries when appropriate and beneficial for her patients. Additionally, Dr. Kannan is an experienced Laparoscopic surgeon, employing minimally invasive surgical methods since 2006.

With years of experience in large tertiary hospitals in Australia and New Zealand, Dr. Kannan now extends her expertise to private patients at Mater Hospital. Having served at esteemed institutions such as King Edward Memorial Hospital in Perth, WA, National Women’s, Middlemore, and Auckland City Hospitals in New Zealand, she brings a wealth of knowledge to childbirth and gynaecology-related care.
