Welcome to the Cairns Community Legal Centre, located at 82 Grafton Street in Cairns City, Australia. As an establishment that provides legal services, we are here to assist the local community with a range of civil, family, and criminal law matters. Our dedicated team of lawyers is well-versed in various areas of law, including employment law, traffic matters, and more.

One of the services we offer is the Cairns Mental Health Legal Service, which aims to support individuals with mental health issues who may require legal assistance. Additionally, we provide legal services for people with disabilities who have faced unfair treatment or discrimination based on their disability.

Operated by the Cairns Community Legal Centre Inc, our Consumer Law Service (CLS) offers legal advice on consumer matters such as credit disputes and product/service disputes. We also have a Family Law Service (FLS) that focuses on providing legal advice in relation to family law children's matters.

For the seniors in our community, we have the Seniors Legal and Support Service (SLASS), where a solicitor and social worker work together to provide the necessary assistance. Furthermore, we are proud to offer the Domestic & Family Violence Duty Lawyer Service to support individuals facing domestic violence situations.

At the Cairns Community Legal Centre, our mission is to provide accessible legal services to those in the community who are experiencing disadvantage. We offer information, referrals, legal advice, and, in some cases, ongoing casework assistance. Our location in the heart of Cairns makes it convenient for individuals in our service area to access our services.

If you require legal assistance regarding Involuntary Treatment Orders, ECT applications, or other mental health legal problems, we are here to help. We also provide legal services to individuals with disabilities who have faced unfair treatment.

For seniors concerned about elder abuse, mistreatment, or financial matters, our legal and support services are available.

You can find us at the Cairns Magistrates Court every Thursday. Additionally, we offer a free DVDLS (Domestic Violence Duty Lawyer Service) for both aggrieved parties and respondents.
