"Wow .. Cairns Botanical Gardens .. Amazing that the old ones had the foresight to plan and save this outstanding Garden. Loved it and wish I had more time to explore it more .. Had sneaky Breakfast in the Cafe as well .. Eggs Benedict were top shelf .. Loved it."
"This place was really eye opening. I didn't realise these gardens were so large. It was really beautiful. The trees were so tall. It was more of a rainforest than anything. There were coffee shops to drop in for a snack or meal. Tours if you wanted a more in depth look. Plenty of parking and .ore shops nearby if you wanted to grab lunch."
"Beautiful botanic gardens, one of the best in Australia 10/10 will visit again!! A selection of several garden areas with great walks, approx 1hr each. You could spend 2hrs or 2days here easily. Gondwana rainforest walk takes you through the hostory of terrestrial plant life. The saltwater and freshwater wetlands walks are beautidul, with areas that look and feel like being back with the dinosaurs. The conservatory is beautiful with butterflies and carnivorous plants and orchids."
"An absolutely beautiful place.... I could've stayed all day! Endless pathways and board walks to meander along and unusual plants to gaze at. Parking was easy and seamless."
